Do I need any boxing experience to start?

No. We coach total beginners every week. Coach Victor breaks fundamentals down step by step — stance, guard, footwork, then punches — so you're never lost.

How old do kids need to be to join?

The Little Hammers program starts at age 5. Ages 5–9 train together, 10–12 move up to the Youth Boxing group, and 13+ join the Teens & Adults program.

What does membership cost?

Ages 5–9 are $100/month, ages 10–12 are $130/month, and ages 13+ are $160/month. All memberships have a 3-month minimum commitment, then convert to month-to-month.

Do you offer a free trial class?

Yes. Your first class is on us for both the Kids and Adult programs. Come in, meet the coach, and try a real session before signing up.

What's the class schedule?

Monday, Wednesday & Friday: Kids at 4:00–5:00 PM and 5:00–6:00 PM; Adults 13+ at 6:00–7:00 PM and 7:00–8:00 PM. Tuesday & Thursday are Open Gym starting at 5:30 PM. Saturday is Sparring Day by coach approval. Sunday is rest.

What is Open Gym?

Tuesday and Thursday the gym opens at 5:30 PM for members to walk in and get extra training outside the regular class schedule — heavy bags, footwork, conditioning, shadowboxing, jump rope. Coaches are on hand to supervise and answer questions, but it's not a structured class.

When can I start sparring?

Sparring is by coach approval only. Once Coach Victor sees that your defense, conditioning and composure are ready, you'll get the green light for Saturday sparring day.

Question 8

What equipment do I need?

A mouthpiece (required for sparring), boxing gloves, and a water bottle. Ask us in person and we'll point you to the gear that fits your level and budget.

How does billing work?

Automatic billing on the 1st of each month. Your first payment is prorated for the days you actually train, so joining mid-month doesn't cost you a full month.

Question 10

Is boxing safe for kids?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Kids train with protective equipment, age-appropriate drills, and constant coach supervision. Sparring never happens until the coach approves it.
